One of the more obvious problems with using locations is noise. This is a pretty noisy street in the middle of a metropolitan city and there’s not a lot you can do about this kind of noise.
But the thing is that sometimes, occasionally, you actually want to get that kind of noise because it gives a sense of the ambience, the feel of a location. But most of the time, noise is a nuisance.
One of the great things about finding a really good location for your videos, is that it gives you the opportunity to create some visual punctuation, some visual interest and some visual depth and perspective.
We will look at ‘Stock Footage’ in the next masterclass.
